Christmas Trees

Mind the dust-- we're still building our site!
We’re a small, family-run operation with a big holiday spirit—and a lot of loyal customers who come back year after year. Starting Black Friday, we’ve got fresh-cut Christmas trees in all shapes and sizes, ready to bring some cheer to your home. Come by and wander the fields to pick your tree, Fridays through Sundays 10am-5pm.
All trees are $60-$120, tagged in the field. If you find a tree that isn't tagged, or which you think is incorrectly tagged, make us an offer!
We accept cash, tap-to-pay, Venmo, Zelle, CashApp, Apple Pay, and check.
You pick your tree, and we cut it down. If you'd like to cut down your tree yourself, please bring your own saw. We have a limited number of pre-cut trees available as well.
We shake and blow out all trees, and bale on request, free of charge. Trees over 4ft in diameter are too large to be baled. We will help load and secure trees on your car, also free of charge.

Most of our trees are Balsams, a close relative of the classic Fraser Fir. They're well-shaped, disease resistant, and hardy enough to withstand the heat of Southern Maryland summers.

Canaan Firs are similar to Balsams, but tend to be a little narrower and a little taller. Once they're trimmed down, they can be a great fit for a tight space.

These beautifully colored trees have long, soft needles and flexible branches. They're best for folks with curious little ones and light ornaments.

Our gigantic Norway Spruces have dense, dark needles. They're good option for folks with looking to fill a large space, or for an outdoor tree. If you have the space, their prickly needles can also be a great deterrent for mischievous kitties.

Over the years we've found that Douglas Firs don't prefer the clay soil and high temps in our region-- they tend to grow a bit thinner, but they retain their strong, Christmas-y scent. We no longer plant them, but those we have left are great for wreath bases or scented sachets.
Ashland has been in our family for generations, but it wasn’t until 2007 that Peter and his brother John started planting Christmas trees. Over time, the farm became a seasonal tradition, especially for Peter and his daughter Jane, who now run things together. We’ve learned a lot over the years, and while Jane's siblings are off in other cities or at school, they still pitch in when they can. It’s a small operation, but a meaningful one—and we love seeing familiar faces return year after year.
